Today, the iconic '90s punk group Bikini Kill announced a 14-date 2020 world tour, kicking off where the band was founded, in Olympia, Wash. on March 13. This first show, at Capitol Theater, is a special one, as it will benefit local female- and LGBTQ- focused homeless shelter, Interfaith Works.

We're so excited to announce more shows in 2020 - Portland, Seattle, Boston, Montreal, and more! We're offering a very special presale tomorrow morning from 9am- 12pm PT for Bikini Kill fans. The 2020 tour will also bring the iconic Riot Grrrls to U.S. cities, including Seattle, Portland, Ore, Philadelphia and Boston during the months March and May. Internationally, they'll touch down in Victoria, B.C., Montreal and Oslo. The Norway date, which will take place at Øya Festival on Aug. 12, is currently slated to be the final show of the jaunt.

The 2020 tour follows Bikini Kill's reunion at the beginning of the year, which led to four sold-out shows total in New York and Los Angeles from punk queens Kathleen Hanna, Tobi Vail, Kathi Wilcox and Erica Dawn Lyle. They also played their first-ever festival headline set, at 15th anniversary Riot Fest in Chicago in September.

The "Rebel Girl" group also recently reissued two of their classic albums on vinyl and CD, Pussy Whipped and Reject All American, from 1993 and 1996, respectively. Both have been out of print for seven years, and proceeds the release of their entire musical catalog on streaming services (Apple Music, TIDAL and Spotify) last fall.

GRAMMY-nominated alt singer/songwriter K.Flay has released a catchy new song, "This Baby Don't Cry," along with the announcement that it is part of her forthcoming third studio album, Solutions. In addition to sharing the LP's release date of July 12, she revealed she'll be kicking off The Solutions Tour on Sept. 3 in Phoenix.

"This Baby Don't Cry" is the second single she has dropped this year, following "Bad Vibes" last month. Both songs will be on the upcoming album. She co-wrote the latest with Dan Reynolds of Imagine Dragons, who signed her to his Night Street Records label (under Interscope) in 2016.

The album will be her second LP released under Reynold's imprint, following 2017's Every Where Is Some Where, which earned her two GRAMMY nods at the 60th GRAMMY Awards, including for Best Rock Song for its popular track "Blood In The Cut."

In a press release, K.Flay explains the creative energy behind her latest project, which followed the three years of touring that she wrapped up late in 2018.

"When I got home from tour, I was in a dark place. Eventually, I made a decision to focus on the things that actually make me happy," she wrote.

She elaborated, explaining; "The title Solutions came to me really early in the process. The solution to almost every problem is usually really simple. For me, it's so basic: staying connected to the people I love, taking care of myself the way I'd want my friends to take care of themselves, and doing things I know are going to make me happy – not what social media or strangers or society tells me. So many of my past records were about problems. Right now I'm in a place where I'm looking for some light. Balance is important."

The newly announced tour will have K.Flay bringing her unique sound—and new music—to 19 cities across North America from Sept. 3 to Oct. 12, with stops in Vancouver, Seattle, Chicago, Brooklyn, N.Y. and more. On Oct. 18, she will be crossing the pond for a European leg of the tour, kicking off in Birmingham, U.K. and wrapping up on Nov. 11 in Frankfurt, Germany.

In addition to the new headline tour dates, she will also be performing at several music fests this summer, including Reynolds' LOVELOUD Festival in Utah and Bonnaroo in Utah.

Tickets for her tour dates go on sale this Friday, May 3, with fan and album pre-order pre-sales starting tomorrow.

Three-time GRAMMY winners The Flaming Lips announced a 12-date U.S. summer tour, which they will kick off in Wichita, Kan. on July 23 and wrap up in Raleigh, N.C. on Aug. 7.

The trek will feature support from fellow U.S. alt-rock outfits The Claypool Lennon Delirium, comprising Primus' Les Claypool and Sean Lennon, and Particle Kid, Micah Nelson's musical project. The shows will primarily take place at amphitheaters and other outdoor venues, and the dates are limited to the eastern half of the U.S., with no West Coast shows currently listed.

Following their U.S. dates, The Flaming Lips will perform several shows in Europe, including three special U.K. shows in September to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Soft Bulletin.

Just in time for the tour, the group will offer a full release of their 15th studio album, King's Mouth: Music And Songs, on July 19. The LP had a limited-edition golden vinyl drop for Record Store Day earlier this month. It is the eclectic rock group's follow up to 2017's Oczy Mlody and, according to their website, will include 12 new songs from the group "connected by narration provided by The Clash's Mick Jones."

The band shared the dreamy, electro-tinged "All For The Life Of The City" from the album last week, which you can listen to below.

As is fitting for anything dreamed up by frontman Wayne Coyne, there's more, and it involves rainbows. "A King's Mouth: An Immersive Installation" is currently on display at Rough Trade NYC, an indie record store in Brooklyn, until May 31. The free art exhibit allows "viewers to crawl into a large metallic head to experience a music-driven LED light show," according to the band's site. The album is also paired with a supplementary book, written and illustrated by Coyne.

"The King's Mouth immersive/child-like qualities are born from the same spark and womb as The Flaming Lips' live performances. The King's Mouth adventure was made for humans of all sizes, ages, cultures, and religions," Coyne said of the exhibit in a press release.

Tickets for the newly announced shows, which include special VIP meet and greet options, go on sale this Friday, April 26.

Today, British indie electro-rock group Bloc Party announced they will be bringing their Silent Alarm Tour to the U.S. for six special concerts this fall. The tour celebrates their debut album, 2005's Silent Alarm, which they will play in full, and marks their first U.S. shows in four years.

The Silent Alarm U.S. Tour begins on Sept. 16 in Washington, D.C., followed by a show in Philadelphia the next day, and then one at Boston's House of Blues on Sept. 19. They will perform in New York City at the Central Park SummerStage on Sept. 20, then close things out on the West Coast on Nov. 19 and 20, in Los Angeles and San Francisco, respectively.

Bloc Party consists of founding members Kele Okereke and Russell Lissack, plus Louise Bartle and Justin Harris, who joined the group in 2015 following the other two founding members' departure. The U.S. shows follow a successful Silent Alarm Tour in Europe in October 2018 and Australia the following month. During the tour, they recorded Silent Alarm Live, which is currently slated for a May 17 release date.

"We play Silent Alarm, then do a run through of b-sides and lesser known songs from that era, and then just some of the more well-known songs from across the back catalogue. It's almost like two sets. You still need to have a bit more than just the album, and it seems to be working pretty well," founding member/lead guitarist Russell said in an interview last November.

Tickets for the U.S. tour dates go on sale this Fri., March 29 on Ticketmaster for all dates excluding N.Y.C. and D.C., which you can find at the corresponding links.

From scoring the critically acclaimed film "Queen & Slim," slaying Coachella, touring with Tyler, The Creator and releasing the Angel's Pulse mixtape, Devonte Hynes, a.k.a. Blood Orange, has had a triumphant 2019.

Given his tour announcement today, which includes a debut headline show on March 20, at New York City's legendary Radio City Music Hall, it looks like 2020 will be another great year for the "Hope" singer.

Before the Brooklyn-based artist takes over Radio City, he will begin his trek on March 7 at Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival in Okeechobee, Fla., followed by two nights in Atlanta on March 9 and 10 and a show at Chicago's historic The Vic Theatre on March 13. He will also perform in Detroit, Toronto and Washington, D.C. before closing things out with a bang back home in New York.

Other than the festival set, all dates are Blood Orange headline shows. His friend and collaborator Tei Shi (they've collabed on his 2018 single "Hope," her 2019 one "Even If It Hurts") will support all of his headline dates. As noted by Brooklyn Vegan, the March show will not be the first time Hynes has played Radio City—he opened for Florence & The Machine there way back in 2012.

In his Instagram post this morning announcing the big news, he noted there are "more dates 2 come." In the words of the late, great Zapp founder Roger Troutman, on behalf of other West Coast Blood Orange fans, don't forget; "California knows how to party."

Tickets for all Blood Orange headline dates go on sale this Friday, Dec. 13 at 11 a.m.—visit his website for more info.
