Did you know?:
In addition to their wins for "Lonely Boy," the Black Keys, comprised of guitarist Dan Auerbach and drummer Patrick Carney, also took Best Rock Album for El Camino. In total, the duo won three of the five categories in which they were nominated, save for Album Of The Year and Record Of The Year, which went to Mumford & Sons for Babel and Gotye's "Somebody That I Used To Know" featuring Kimbra, respectively. El Camino was co-produced by the Black Keys and GRAMMY winner Danger Mouse. Auerbach won an additional GRAMMY at the 55th GRAMMY Awards for Producer Of The Year, Non-Classical for his work on El Camino and Dr. John's GRAMMY-winning Locked Down, among other recordings. Speaking of Dr. John, the New Orleans blues icon teamed with the Black Keys and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band for a performance of "Lonely Boy" on the 55th GRAMMY telecast.
