"I’m so happy to announce my first solo North American tour dates," the singer tweeted.

Rosalía won Best Alternative Song and Best Fusion/ Urban Interpretation at the 19th Latin GRAMMY Awards in November and has been praised for bringing flamenco to the limelight with her hip-hop and pop beats. During her acceptance speech she gave a special shout-out to female artists who came before her, including Lauryn Hill and Bjork.

Rosalía has been getting some love herself lately, most notably from Alicia Keys, who gave the Spanish star a shout-out during an acceptance speech, and Madonna, who featured her on her Spotify International Women's Day Playlist.

Tickets for the tour go on sale March 22. For more tour dates, visit Rosalía's website.

GRAMMY-winning Puerto Rican singer iLe recently released her sophomore album, Almadura, and now she has announced a string of tour dates to launch this summer.

The singer, fomerly of Calle 13, will kick off the tour at the Latin Alternative Music Conference's Summer Stage in New York City's Central Park on July 10. She then heads to Washington's Ivy City Smokehouse on July 12 before her last date at the Museo de Arte in Puerto Rico on Aug.17.

— iLe (@ilevitable) May 28, 2019

The name of iLe's sophmore album tranlates to "strong spirit" and is a Puerto Rican play on words of "armadura," which means "armor." The album is statement about protecting Puerto Rico and its culture as well as paying tribute to today's women and the armor they use to survive.

Her latest single, "Temes," questions the idea of machismo and sexism in Latino culture.

"The song 'Temes’ has nothing to do with romance," iLe said in a press release. "Instead it is a defiant bolero that exposes one of patriarchy’s darkest blind spots: 'machismo' is more than an expression of power, it is a weak and horrifying reaction of fear."

Almadura is the follow-up to the GRAMMY-winning iLevitable. For more information on iLe's tour, visit her website.
