20/20 Music Fest Is Coming To Create A Space For "Like-Minded Believers"
A new festival geared towards fans of Christian and gospel is coming to Los Angeles next year. The 20/20 Summer Fest will cater to the musical preferences for those into Christian, Latin Christian and Gospel hip-hop music, Billboard reports.
The fest will take place at the Banc of California Stadium July 17– 18 and is being executive produced by Dash Radio's God's House of Hip-Hop co-owners rapper Emcee N.I.C.E. and Chantal "Chanie G" Grayson. The producers hope to create a space for "like-minded believers."
"This is just straight ‘festival music ministry’ from Christian and Gospel hip-hop artists from the U.S. and around the world,” Emcee N.I.C.E. said in a statement. "This will be an environment where people can fellowship among like-minded believers and turn up for the culture."
The fest is expected to bring out 30,000 attendees with 75 artists planned for the lineup. No artists have been announced yet, but lineup announcements will start in January.
"Without sounding cliché, 20/20 Summer Fest is the realization that through your faith perfect vision exists," Emcee N.I.C.E. said expanding on the fest's mission. "God’s plan for you is pure. I want our guests to feel the essence of being alive and witness great-hip hop with lyrics that serve as a compass for the lost and weary and/or reassurance for those that are standing on solid ground.”
