GRAMMY Winners Receive RIAA Honors
GRAMMY-winning artists Lady Antebellum, Sugarland and the Zac Brown Band received top multi-platinum honors from the Recording Industry Association of America in April. Lady Antebellum and the Zac Brown Band earned their first double-platinum album nods for Need You Now and The Foundation, respectively, and Sugarland picked up triple-platinum honors for Enjoy The Ride. Lady Antebellum's "Need You Now" received top digital download honors with more than three million copies sold, along with GRAMMY winners Alicia Keys and Jay-Z for "Empire State Of Mind," Jay Sean with "Down," and Train's "Hey, Soul Sister." Pascucci To Leave Rhino Records
Rhino Records' President and Scott Pascucci will leave the company, according to a statement issued to Billboard. Kevin Gore, currently Rhino's executive VP/GM will assume management responsibilities for the company, and Pascucci, a GRAMMY Foundation Board member, will remain on board as a consultant through the transition.
