, EMI Music Group and Apple have announced that music from the Beatles is now available for purchase for the first time at the iTunes store, including the 13 recently remastered studio albums in the iTunes LP format and a digital box set. Also available are Past Masters Volume 1, Past Masters Volume 2, The Beatles 1962–1966, and The Beatles 1967–1970. Single albums are available for $12.99 each, double albums are available for $19.99, individual songs are priced at $1.29 each, and the digital Beatles box set is available for $149. (11/16)

UMG Reports Q3 Earnings
Universal Music Group
reported earnings of $116 million before interest, taxes and amortization during its third quarter, a 47 percent increase compared to the year-ago quarter, and a 6 percent increase in revenue to $1.4 billion. For the first nine months of 2010, the company's earnings totalled $332 million, down 9.3 percent compared to the same period of 2009, and revenue dropped 1.7 percent to $4 billion. UMG showed an 18.5 percent increase in digital sales for the first nine months of 2010. (11/16)

Gospel Music Hall Of Fame To Induct Cash
Johnny Cash
, a 13-time GRAMMY winner, GRAMMY Legend Award and Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award recipient, will be inducted into the GMA Gospel Music Hall of Fame at the Trinity Music City Auditorium in Hendersonville, Tenn., on Jan. 24, 2011. Also being inducted are radio personality Bill "Hoss" Allen, Christian rock duo DeGarmo & Key and the Golden Gate Quartet. Past Gospel Hall inductees include the Blind Boys Of Alabama, Amy Grant, Dolly Parton, and Elvis Presley, among others. (11/16)
