Recognizing its significant cultural impact, the Recording Academy created a new category for the 2023 GRAMMYs: Best Score Soundtrack for Video Games and Other Interactive Media. Watch composer Stephanie Economou win a golden gramphone for their work on "Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Dawn Of Ragnarok."

Composers Austin Wintory ("Aliens: Fireteam Elite"), S Bear McCreary (Call Of Duty®: Vanguard"), Richard Jacques ("Marvel's Guardians Of The Galaxy") and Christopher Tin ("Old World") were also nominated in the new category.
