Sunset Strip Music Festival

The first-ever Sunset Strip Music Festival took place in 2008. The festival was created by the Sunset Strip Business Association, music venues and member businesses to promote, preserve and perpetuate the live music scene on the Sunset Strip. The annual festival also includes a tribute event honoring those who have made an impact on the Sunset Strip. This year's honorees were the Doors. Previous recipients have included Mötely Crüe, Slash and Ozzy Osbourne, among others.
