The 2012 Summer Spirit Festival took place Aug. 4 at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Md., and featured performances by Eric Roberson, Estelle, Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings, a tribute to the late Chuck Brown, Common, and Erykah Badu.
