My name is Kimberly A. Hines, known by many by my nickname Butta, and I'm the Editor-in-Chief of the award-winning music website, SoulBounce.com.
I've loved music for as long as I can remember--from my days of shaking my little shimmy in music class in elementary school when I should have been learning to play the recorder to creating some of the most the hilarious (read: worst) rap songs and dances with my best friends during my college days. Today--most days anyway--I'm all grown up, and you can find me channeling my love for music and the written word daily at SoulBounce where my team and I recognize, respect and represent the past, present and future of soul music.
A "soulcial" media diva, when I'm not holding it down at SoulBounce you can find me at a nu soul, R&B or hip hop concert (Eric Roberson, The Foreign Exchange, Eric Benet, The Roots, Chaka Khan, Jill Scott, Lalah Hathaway, N'dambi, Mary J. Blige, Common, Q-Tip, Maxwell, John Legend, Tortured Soul & Erykah Badu are a few live show faves) or shopping for clothes and/or shoes to wear to the next concert.
