Maura Johnston

Maura Johnston is a freelance writer and editor whose work has appeared in The Village Voice, Rolling Stone, Chicago Reader, Vanity Fair, and Newsday. She was a founding editor of the music blog Idolator. Currently, Johnston is an instructor for the Clive Davis Department of Recorded Music at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. She lives in Astoria, New York.
