Hi, I'm Jamie, and I go to a lot of shows. I document my experiences at HardRockChick.com. My posts read like a diary and music is my life. I started writing HardRockChick in 2007 in San Francisco, and am currently based in Los Angeles.
A really good show is like a drug to me. You'll usually see me up front, arms in the air, basking in the glow of my favorite rock stars.
I utilize Twitter during shows to share the experience in real time. I tweet pictures, the set list and anything amusing that may be occurring. My write-ups following the show are posted within 24 hours (most of the time) to capture the feeling. Occasionally, I'll follow a tour around for a stretch of dates.
I like hard rock, industrial, psychedelic rock, thrash, black and death metal, wine, and long walks on the beach. My favorite band is Nine Inch Nails and my favorite color is black. I collect gig posters, guitar picks and broken hearts.
