(A portion of the proceeds from The Recording Academy Los Angeles Chapter's GRAMMY Block Party benefitted PATH, a Los Angeles-based organization dedicated to ending homelessness for individuals, families and communities.)

Pop/rock outfit LoveSick Radio were the recent guests for an installment of The Recording Academy's 5 Questions With … series. Held during The Recording Academy Los Angeles Chapter's GRAMMY Block Party at The Academy's headquarters in Santa Monica, Calif., LoveSick Radio also took the stage to perform a set including tracks from their full-length debut album, Heartbreak 4 Dummies, "Boys Don't Matter," "Everybody On The Floor," "Loser Of The Year," and "One Last Time."

"It's a lot of work," said bassist Josh Masters on touring. "You run into a lot of different artists so you have to take those experiences and try to absorb any information you can. We're all kind of on the same team, but we take different paths."

Originally formed in Columbus, Ohio, as Cleverin with Masters, drummer Josh McGee and frontman Justin Theriault, the trio added guitarist David Harris and changed their name to LoveSick Radio. The new name was inspired by a comment made by McGee that "every song on the radio is about love." The band cites a variety of influences such as Dashboard Confessional, Bob Dylan, OK Go, Poison, and the Rolling Stones, among others. In 2009 the quartet released Heartbreak 4 Dummies, which was followed by the single "Doncha Want Me!" in 2010. The band is currently scheduled to play select dates in the United States through December.
