Singer Pasión Vega, along with Latin Recording Academy President/CEO Gabriel Abaroa Jr. and Chairman of the Board of Trustees Luis Cobos, will host the 14th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards Pre-Telecast Ceremony. Additionally, Latin GRAMMY winner Fonseca will present awards in select categories and current Latin GRAMMY nominees La Vida Bohème, EliaCim and Gaby Moreno will perform at the Pre-Telecast Ceremony, which will precede the 14th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards telecast on Nov. 21 from 2–3 p.m. PT at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.
EliaCim and Moreno are Best New Artist nominees and La Vida Bohème are up for Best Rock Album.
Latin GRAMMY en Vivo, hosted by Kike Posada, will live stream the Pre-Telecast Ceremony and provide unprecedented access to Latin music's biggest stars on the green carpet and exclusive backstage interviews. Latin GRAMMY en Vivo begins on Nov. 20 at 10 a.m. PT with The Latin Recording Academy's Special Merit Awards Presentation honoring Oscar D'León, Juan Formell, Mario Kreutzberger aka "Don Francisco," Roberto Menescal, Totó La Momposina, Palito Ortega, Eddie Palmieri, Miguel Ríos, and Pedro Ramírez Velázquez.
On Nov. 21 Latin GRAMMY en Vivo will begin at 1 p.m., giving fans around the world exclusive access to the 14th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards Pre-Telecast Ceremony, during which awards will be announced in approximately 35 of the 48 categories. The presentation takes place prior to the evening's telecast, kicking off a full evening of celebrating excellence in recorded Latin music from around the world. The day's stream will also include highlights from The Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year red-carpet arrivals honoring Miguel Bosé, which will also be made available on demand, providing music fans with special content, video interviews and photos. Additionally, The Latin Recording Academy presents its first Viewer Guide Mobile App, giving fans a more interactive Latin GRAMMY experience. Now available as a free download for smartphones and tablets on Apple's App Store, Google Play and the Amazon App Store, this content-rich app features interactive components such as exclusive performance videos, trivia and voting features, iTunes links for music discovery and social sharing options for Facebook and Twitter. Highlights include an interview with Latin music all-stars and 2013 Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year honoree Bosé, as well as video and photos featuring nominees for Best New Artist, Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year, and Album Of The Year. The app also captures memorable moments from past Latin GRAMMY telecasts and highlights the philanthropic initiatives of The Latin Recording Academy such as its Latin GRAMMY in the Schools program.
The 14th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards telecast will take place Nov. 21 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center and will be broadcast live on the Univision Network from 8–11 p.m. ET/PT (7 p.m. Central).
