GRAMMY-winning songwriter Jessie Harris is releasing his new solo album, Sub Rosa, on July 31. In conjunction with the album's release, GRAMMY.com has your exclusive first look at the iPhone video for "You Were Bound To Fly Away," a B-side track from Sub Rosa featuring fellow GRAMMY winner Norah Jones.

A native of New York, Harris grew up studying classical piano and guitar. After spending time with several bands, including Once Blue with vocalist Rebecca Martin and the Ferdinandos, Harris met GRAMMY winner Norah Jones, with whom he subsequently collaborated on her debut album, 2002's Come Away With Me. That same year Harris earned a GRAMMY Award for Song Of The Year for penning Jones' "Don't Know Why," a song on which he also played guitar. After releasing several albums with the Ferdinandos, Harris released a solo album, 2006's Mineral, followed by 2007's Feel, 2009's Watching The Sky, and 2010's Cosmo.

Sub Rosa, was inspired by Brazilian pop and was predominantly recorded and mixed in Rio de Janeiro. The album features 14 tracks penned by Harris with guest appearances by artists including Bright Eyes' Conor Oberst and Jones. For Harris, Sub Rosa, is the start to a new career chapter.

"I worked harder on this recording than on any other before," he said. "In the past, I've been a bit diffident about my own albums, almost excusing them for some reason, even though deep down I felt strongly about them. Subsequently, I wasn't 100 percent driven to get behind them and tour, but now all I feel like doing is my own thing." Harris is currently on tour throughout the United States, with dates scheduled through August.
