Tune In
The MTV Video Music Awards are set to take place Aug. 25 in Brooklyn, N.Y., and several GRAMMY-winning artists will take the stage, including Drake, Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, and Kanye West. Rumors are also circulating regarding a potential reunion featuring the original members of 'N Sync. Will J.T. bring sexy back with Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick, Lance Bass, and JC Chasez? Tune in to find out. … Ahead of his MTV VMAs performance, West will appear on the "Kris Jenner Show" on Aug. 23 for his first television interview in three years. According to a report, West will show a photo of baby North.

Film
The film adaptation of Green Day's "American Idiot" musical, Broadway Idiot, will hit theaters this fall, according to Variety. … The Butler (2013) director Lee Daniels has revealed he's working on a Janis Joplin biopic that will feature Amy Adams playing The Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award recipient.

Festivals
Kings Of Leon's taste buds are on fire. Rockers turned foodies Caleb and Nathan Followill have announced they will produce the first annual Music City Eats: Nashville Food, Wine & Spirits Festival from Sept. 21–22 featuring food from 25 of the region's most authentic chefs and a Southern cooking class with Trisha Yearwood. "Slowly but surely Nashville is becoming one of the food meccas of the South," frontman Caleb Followill told Rolling Stone. Music City Eats will culminate Sept. 21 with an edition of Petty Fest featuring performances from GRAMMY winners Patrick Carney of the Black Keys, Rodney Crowell, Jakob Dylan, Emmylou Harris, and Norah Jones.

New Music
Prince is hitting at our funny bone with the release of the artwork for his new single, "Breakfast Can Wait," which features comedian Dave Chappelle dressed as Prince carrying a plate of hotcakes, an impersonation he did on an episode of "Chappelle's Show." Is this what it sounds like when breakfast burns? … According to frontman Dave Grohl, 2014 is going to be a big year for Foo Fighters. In an interview with XFM, Grohl revealed the band have completed songs for a new album that is expected to be released next year, adding, "It's not ready to happen right now, but I think next year is going to be a really big year for the Foo Fighters without question."

With the 2013 MTV VMAs on the horizon, it appears Taylor Swift will never ever forget the 2009 ceremony when Kanye West made her see red. That was evident in the singer's recent gift to Ed Sheerana jar of jam with the following inscription: "Yo Ed — I'm really happy 4 you and I'm gonna let u finish but this is the best jam of all time. — T." … Other artists seem to have words for Yeezus, namely Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor, who said West is "the dangerous entertainer of 2013." "It feels like he might implode," Reznor added.
