Members of GRAMMY Camp — Jazz Session, featuring 30 high school students representing 30 cities across the United States, will travel to Los Angeles for a weeklong musical adventure and perform at a variety of GRAMMY Week events under the direction of Justin DiCioccio of the Manhattan School of Music, Dr. Leila Heil of the University of Colorado Boulder and Dr. Ron McCurdy of the University of Southern California Thornton School of Music.

Jazz Session members will perform at the third annual GRAMMY In The Schools Live! — A Celebration Of Music & Education on Feb. 8 at the University of Southern California. Sponsored by the Ford Motor Company Fund and the Starkey Hearing Foundation with support from Best Buy, Converse and KTWV-FM (94.7 the Wave), this event is open to the public and will showcase Jazz Session members, along with student alumni from GRAMMY Camp and GRAMMY Signature Schools, and feature host Pat Prescott from 94.7 the Wave with special performances by current GRAMMY nominee Terri Lyne Carrington and GRAMMY-winning artist Anthony Hamilton.

Jazz Session members will also make a public performance with current GRAMMY nominees Joe Lovano and Arturo O'Farrill on Feb. 9 at Spaghettini Italian Grill & Lounge in Seal Beach, Calif.

GRAMMY Camp — Jazz Session members will also perform on Feb. 10 at the 22nd annual MusiCares Person of the Year tribute, honoring Paul McCartney.

EMI Music once again provided Capitol Studios & Mastering for the Jazz Session to record an album on Feb. 10–11. This year's recording will join the lineup of previous albums available for purchase at online music outlets such as Amazon and iTunes.

As a grand finale, Jazz Session members will attend the 54th Annual GRAMMY Awards on Feb. 12 as guests of The Recording Academy and will perform at the GRAMMY Celebration after-party.
