Van Halen Named Greatest Guitarist Of All Time
GRAMMY winner Eddie Van Halen has been named the greatest guitarist of all time by Guitar World magazine. Van Halen beat Queen's Brian May, who placed second, in a vote by Guitar World readers. Placing third was Rush's Alex Lifeson, followed by Jimi Hendrix (No. 4), Joe Satriani (No. 5), Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page (No. 6), Black Sabbath's Tony Iommi (No. 7), Stevie Ray Vaughan (No. 8), Pantera's Dimebag Darrell (No. 9), and Steve Vai (No. 10) to round out the top 10.
Gaga Goes Gaga For … Toenails?
Lady Gaga has a new obsession, and it's not Madonna. It's Edith Piaf. According to reports, the Fame Monster is hoping to acquire several items belonging to the late French chanteuse, including the rights to nine songs and Piaf's first filmed performance, both of which will be used in conjunction with Gaga's next album and subsequent tour, respectively. But that's not all Gaga is looking to marry the night with. She's also spending her fame money on Piaf's clothes, shoes, perfume bottles, private letters, and … toenails. Yes, Gaga is hoping to acquire Edith Piaf's toenail clippings. It must be love. Or is it just gross?
