Pandora Posts Third Quarter Results
Internet radio service Pandora posted third-quarter financial gains with revenue of $120 million, a 60 percent year-over-year increase. Advertising revenue totaled $106.3 million, a 61 percent increase, and subscription and other revenues totaled $13.7 million, a 52 percent increase compared to last year. Total listener hours were up 67 percent to 3.56 billion, and total active users grew 47 percent to 59.2 million.

Jack White: Gaga Is "All Artifice"
Lady Gaga can claim she was "born this way" until all the eggs in the world are hatched, but Jack White isn't sold on the Fame Monster or her music. "It's all artifice," White said in a recent interview with Esquire UK. "It's all image with no meaning behind it. You can't sink your teeth into it. It's a sound bite." White's Gaga rant was part of his overall contempt for celebrities and how their attempts to appear "relatable" can lead to "unfair expectations of normalcy." So what is normal for Jack White? Apparently it's playing in a brother-and-sister duo with your ex-wife.
