Joie Manda Exits Def Jam, Heads To Interscope
Def Jam President Joie Manda will step down from his post and relocate to Los Angeles where he will join Interscope Records as president of urban music, according to a Billboard report. The move will allow Manda to remain under the Universal Music Group umbrella and oversee Interscope artists such as Kendrick Lamar and GRAMMY winners 50 Cent, Black Eyed Peas, and Hit Boy.
Lil Wayne: "I'm An Epileptic"
GRAMMY-winning rapper Lil Wayne opened up about his recent bout with seizures, telling Los Angeles radio station Power 106 he suffers from epilepsy. In his first interview since leaving an L.A. hospital on March 19, where he reportedly spent six days in intensive care, Lil Wayne said his seizures are brought on by "plain stress, no rest, [and] overworking myself." We hope the rapper, whose new album is titled I Am Not A Human Being II, doesn't take the title to heart and gets some much needed rest, like the rest of us human beings.
