Spears Splits With Fiancé, "The X Factor"
In the wake of news regarding her exit from "The X Factor," GRAMMY winner Britney Spears is also exiting marriage, or at least the possibility of it. After reports surfaced in December speculating that Spears' engagement to Jason Trawick could be on the rocks, the pair has officially split. "Jason and I have decided to call off our engagement," Spears revealed in a statement. "I'll always adore him and we will remain great friends." Trawick shared the sentiment. "As this chapter ends for us a new one begins. I love and cherish her and her boys and we will be close forever." While the split sounds amicable, an inside source told Yahoo News that Trawick "definitely feels resentful toward Britney because he gave up his career … in order to be everything to [her]." What's next for Spears? She's ramping up her career. After releasing a new single with will.i.am, "Scream And Shout," the singer said in a statement, "It's time for me to get back in the studio." Stay tuned, because Britney's back, b****.
