Did you know?: In addition to their win for Song Of The Year, which the band co-wrote with Jeff Bhasker, Fun., comprised of Jack Antonoff, Andrew Dost and Nate Ruess, also took home the Best New Artist trophy. In total, the band won two of the six categories in which they were nominated. The trio teamed with GRAMMY-nominated singer Janelle Monáe for "We Are Young," which garnered nominations for Record Of The Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. In addition to being the first-ever single to log more than six weeks with digital sales of 300,000 units or more, "We Are Young" sold more than 5 million units, making it the third biggest-selling song of 2012. Fun. performed "Carry On" from their Album Of The Year-nominated 2012 release, Some Nights, on the 55th telecast.
