Previous wins: This is Chris Brown's first GRAMMY win. He earned eight prior nominations, including Best New Artist (2006).

Did you know?: Released in March 2011, F.A.M.E. is Brown's first album to reach No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The album spawned three GRAMMY nominations, including Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance for the Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 hit "Look At Me Now" featuring Lil Wayne and Busta Rhymes. Brown's performance on the 54th Annual GRAMMY Awards included a new song, "Turn Up The Music," and "Beautiful People" from F.A.M.E. Brown also took part in the telecast's first-ever dance segment with a performance of "I Can Only Imagine" with David Guetta and Lil Wayne.
