Tune in to the CW on Wednesday, Oct. 20 to watch Recording Academy President/CEO Neil Portnow participate as a guest judge on the reality series "America's Next Top Model." In this episode, the contestants meet at the GRAMMY Museum in Los Angeles for a challenge that will award an opportunity to serve as a trophy presenter during the 53rd Annual GRAMMY Awards on Feb. 13, 2011. The winner will attend the GRAMMY Awards in Los Angeles and act as an onstage escort for award winners during the live telecast.
Hosted by fashion model and TV personality Tyra Banks and currently in its 15th cycle, "America's Next Top Model" gives a selected group of women the opportunity to launch a career in the demanding world of high fashion supermodeling. The contestants participate in a different competition each week and are judged by Banks, Vogue Editor-At-Large Andre Leon Talley, and photographer Nigel Barker, with Jay Manuel serving as photo shoot creative director. In addition to Portnow, guest judges during this cycle include fashion photographer Patrick Demarchelier, supermodel Karolina Kurkova and designer Diane von Furstenberg, among others.
This season's winner will receive a contract with IMG Models, a fashion spread in Vogue Italia with an additional spread and cover in the beauty section of Vogue, and a $100,000 contract with CoverGirl.
"America's Next Top Model" will air Wednesday, Oct. 20 at 8 p.m./7 p.m. C on the CW. The 53rd Annual GRAMMY Awards will air live from Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
