A new comScore study on online video usage found that 175 million U.S. Internet users watched online video content in October, averaging 15.1 hours per viewer. Google sites, driven primarily by YouTube, ranked as the top online video content provider with 146.3 million unique viewers. Yahoo ranked second with 53.8 million viewers, followed by Viacom Digital with 52.9 million, Vevo with 47.6 million, and Facebook with 47.4 million. Overall, U.S. Internet users engaged in more than 5.4 billion viewing sessions during October, with Google sites attaining the highest number of viewing sessions with more than 2 billion. (11/19)

today announced the launch of Mashup with Facebook, a new integration feature allowing users to log on to their Facebook accounts via Myspace. The new feature will import users' likes and interests from their Facebook profiles to their Myspace page, providing a stream of entertainment content based on users' individual interests, including information on musicians and artists. The new feature is expected to launch on Myspace later today. (11/19)
