Nielsen SoundScan reported that year-to-date digital downloads totaled 510.6 million for the week ending June 6, up 0.2 percent from the same period last year and the first time since the week ending March 14 that year-to-date track sales have been larger than the corresponding period last year. Year-to-date digital album scans are also up 13.8 percent to 35.6 million from the same period last year. (6/10)

GRAMMY winner Carrie Underwood took home top honors at the 2010 CMT Music Awards Wednesday at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn., winning Video of the Year for "Cowboy Casanova" and CMT Performance of the Year for "Temporary Home." Also taking home awards were GRAMMY winners Brooks & Dunn with Duo Video of the Year for "Indian Summer," Lady Antebellum with Group Video of the Year for "Need You Now," Keith Urban with Male Video of the Year for "'Til Summer Comes Around," and GRAMMY-nominated artist Miranda Lambert was honored with the Female Video of the Year award for "White Liar."
