Verizon IPhone Pre-Orders Sell Out
Following an announcement last month that Verizon Wireless would begin offering Apple's iPhone 4, the company announced pre-orders for the device sold out in two hours on Feb. 3, marking the most successful first-day sales in Verizon's history. "When you consider these initial orders were placed between the hours of 3 a.m. and 5 a.m., it is an incredible success story," said Verizon President and CEO Dan Mead. The iPhone 4 will be available again on Feb. 9 online and on Feb. 10 at retail outlets. (2/4)
