U.S. Latin music chain Ritmo Latino has closed the last of its stores due to the decline in Latin music sales and the economy, according to founder/owner David Massry.
Album sales totaled 4.98 million units in the United States for the week ending May 30, the lowest weekly sales total since Soundscan was instituted in 1994, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
