"Thriller" To Inspire Motion Picture
The video for Michael Jackson's GRAMMY-winning "Thriller" could become the only music video in history to inspire a big-budget, feature-length film, according to a Deadline.com report. GK Films, Fox 2000, Lionsgate, and Summit Entertainment are all bidding on rights to the film, which is set to be written by Jeremy Garelick (The Hangover) and directed by Kenny Ortega (High School Musical and Michael Jackson's This Is It).
