Internet radio service Pandora has reached 75 million registered users, up from 50 million users in March 2010, according to founder Tim Westergren. The service allows users to connect through web browsers, mobile apps, TVs, and home and car audio systems, with a catalog of 850,000 songs. (1/14)

Record Store Day Slated For April 16
The fourth annual Record Store Day will take place April 16 at more than 1,400 independent record stores around the world. According to Neilsen SoundScan, Record Store Day 2010 marked the largest single-day sales for vinyl since the SoundScan data system was implemented in 1991. (1/14)

Mumford & Sons Among Brit Awards 2011 Nominees
Nominations for the Brit Awards 2011 were announced on Jan. 13 with Best New Artist GRAMMY nominees Mumford & Sons earning three nominations, including British Breakthrough Act, MasterCard British Album of the Year for Sigh No More and British Group. Also garnering multiple nominations were current GRAMMY nominees Arcade Fire, Eminem and Cee Lo Green, as well as Cheryl Cole, Take That and Tinie Tempah, among others.
