Nashville Rising Concert Raises $2.2 Million
GRAMMY-winning husband-and-wife duo Faith Hill and Tim McGraw helped raise more than $2.2 million for flood victims in middle Tennessee at Nashville Rising: A Benefit Concert For Flood Recovery on June 22. Funds were raised through ticket sales, donations and sponsorships. Held at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn., the benefit also featured performances by artists including Toby Keith, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, and ZZ Top, among others. (7/13)

Charlie Lycett To Manage RCA UK
Sony Music Entertainment has appointed Charlie Lycett as managing director of the RCA Label Group (UK). Lycett, co-founder and owner of the promotion firm Lucid Group, will assume responsibilities in September and replaces Craig Logan, who stepped down from the position in March. Lycett will continue to oversee the Lucid Group and Sony has announced it will be taking a stake in the company. (7/13)
