Myspace Announces Myspace TV
Myspace co-owner Justin Timberlake unveiled Myspace TV, an upgrade to the social media platform that will allow users globally to share their experiences in a real-time format, at the 2012 International Consumer Electronics show on Jan. 9 in Las Vegas. Initial channels offered through Myspace TV will be music-focused and will pull from the social media site's catalog of 100,000 music videos and 42 million songs, and will eventually expand to include movies, news, sports, and reality programming. The feature will give users the ability to discover, share and comment on programs they're viewing, and will also be available on tablets and smart phones. Details on when Myspace TV will launch were not disclosed. (1/10)
