California President Rick Mueller will reportedly exit the company at the end of his employment agreement in July, according to a Billboard.biz report. Details on Mueller's future plans were not disclosed, but reports say he will move to AEG Live. The news follows the recent appointment of former Live Nation Chairman and Senior Consultant Brian Murphy as West Coast president of AEG Live in January. (3/2)

Obama To Honor GRAMMY Winners
President Barack Obama will award GRAMMY winners Van Cliburn, Quincy Jones, Sonny Rollins, and James Taylor, and GRAMMY-nominated actor Meryl Streep with the 2010 National Medal of Arts award, the highest award given to artists and arts patrons by the United States Government, on March 3 at the White House in Washington, D.C. In related news, GRAMMY winner Annie Lennox will be honored with the Harry Chapin Memorial Humanitarian Award from the National Association of Recording Merchandisers in recognition of her work on behalf of HIV/AIDS awareness and other health, human rights and environmental issues.
