reported third-quarter net income of $51.4 million, down 25 percent from $69.2 million during the year-ago quarter, and a 2 percent revenue increase to $1.84 billion for the three months ending Sept. 30. Concert attendance declined 16 percent to 16.4 million during the third quarter, while ticket sales fell 4 percent to 32.3 million. (11/5)

GRAMMY Winners Honored At Billboard Touring Awards
GRAMMY winners Lady Gaga, Metallica, Taylor Swift, and U2 were among the winners at the 2010 Billboard Touring Awards in New York on Nov. 4. Lady Gaga took home the Breakthrough and Concert Marketing & Promotion awards; Metallica received the Eventful Fans' Choice award; Swift was honored with the award for Top Package for her tour with Gloriana and Kellie Pickler; and U2 won awards for Top Tour and Top Draw. Other artists winning awards were AC/DC, Jack Johnson and Rush. (11/5)

Sánz Wins Three Premios Ondas
GRAMMY and Latin GRAMMY winner Alejandro Sánz won three of the five music prizes, including best song for "Looking For Paradise," best album for Paraíso Express and best artist, at the 57th Premios Ondas awards, announced in Barcelona, Spain, on Nov. 4. The awards, which honor national, international and Latin American radio and TV shows and personalities, will be presented at a gala on Nov. 19 in Barcelona. (11/5)
