GRAMMY winners Kings Of Leon's Come Around Sundown made a record-breaking debut at No. 1 on the UK's Official Albums Chart with first-week sales of more than 183,000 units, marking the biggest first-week sales of the year. The album sold more than 49,000 downloads for the first week, marking the biggest first-week digital sales total in the chart's history. (10/25)

Eminem, Minaj Top MTV Hottest MC List
The MTV News Hip-Hop Brain Trust released its 2010 Hottest MC in the Game list with Eminem at No. 1, followed by Jay-Z, Kanye West, Drake, and Rick Ross. Rounding out the Top 10 were Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Waka Flocka Flame, B.o.B, and Ludacris. The list was compiled based on a combination of rhyme skill, flow, buzz, commercial success, business ventures, Web presence, and cultural influence. (10/25)

WSA Honors Desplat, McCartney Honored At Q Awards
GRAMMY-nominated composer Alexandre Desplat took home Film Composer of the Year honors at the World Soundtrack Awards 2010, held during the 37th Ghent International Film Festival on Oct. 23 in Belgium. Also honored were John Barry, Ryan Bingham, T Bone Burnett, Abel Korzeniowski, and Karzan Mahmood. In related awards news, GRAMMY winner Paul McCartney was honored with the Classic Album award for Wings' Band On The Run at the 21st annual Q Awards 2010 on Oct. 25.
