GRAMMY winners Jay-Z and Kanye West took top honors at the 2012 BET Awards on July 1 in Los Angeles, garnering awards for Video of the Year for "Otis" and Best Group for their collaboration on The Throne. Additional artists garnering multiple awards were GRAMMY winners Beyoncé for Best Female R&B Artist and Video Director of the Year with Alan Ferguson, and Chris Brown for Best Male R&B Artist and the AOL Fandemonium Award. ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Music Awards Winners Revealed
Chris Brown's "Look At Me Now," written by Jean-Baptiste Kouame II and Wesley Pentz, earned Top Rap Song honors at ASCAP's 25th Annual Rhythm & Soul Music Awards on June 29 in Los Angeles. Kirk Franklin's "I Smile," written by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, earned Top Gospel Song honors, and the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Song award went to Miguel's "Sure Thing," written by Miguel and Happy Perez. As previously reported, GRAMMY winner Quincy Jones was honored with the ASCAP Founders Award and Pharrell Williams received the Golden Note Award. (7/2) 

Adam Lambert Among O Music Awards Winners
Winners for MTV's O Music Awards were announced with GRAMMY nominee Adam Lambert earning the Must Follow Artist on Twitter award. Additional artists garnering awards were Selena Gomez for Best Artist with a Camera Phone, 30 Seconds To Mars for Best Online Concert Experience, Tokio Hotel for Fan Army FTW, and We The Kings for Most Innovative Music Video for "Say You Like Me." The O Music Awards honors online creativity and winners are determined by fan voting. (7/2)
