GRAMMY Winners Pick Up ACM Honors
Five-time GRAMMY winner Carrie Underwood won Entertainer of the Year honors at Sunday's 45th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, becoming the first female to win the award twice. GRAMMY winners Lady Antebellum took home five awards including Song of the Year for "Need You Now." Other GRAMMY-winning artists winning awards were Brooks & Dunn and Brad Paisley. (4/19)

Spin Names Top U.S. Indie Record Stores
In recognition of Saturday's Record Store Day, Spin magazine named Amoeba Music — with locations in Berkeley, Calif., Hollywood, Calif., and San Francisco — as the top independent record store in the United States. Waterloo Records in Austin, Texas, was named as the runner-up, and New York's Other Music, Atlanta's Wax 'N Facts, and Seattle's Sonic Boom Records rounded out the top five. (4/19)

Live Nation Launches In Australia
Live Nation Entertainment has launched a concert promotion business in Australia with headquarters to be based in Melbourne. The operation will be headed by Roger Field, vice president of promotions in Australia and New Zealand, and Luke Hede, vice president of international booking for Live Nation Asia. (4/19)
