Google Unveils Streaming Media Player, New Tablet
Google has unveiled the Nexus Q, a social streaming media player that works by connecting apps on Android devices with a home stereo system for streaming of music, movies and videos. The Nexus Q is currently available for pre-order from the Google Play store and costs $299. In related news, Google has revealed the new 7-inch Nexus 7 tablet that will run on Android's 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. Features include a front-facing camera, nine hours of video playback and 300 hours of standby battery time. Scheduled to arrive at retailers in July, the tablet will cost $199 for the 8GB model and $249 for the 16GB model. (6/28)

iHeartRadio, Yahoo Ink Internet Radio Deal
Following yesterday's news regarding a new partnership with streaming music service Spotify, Yahoo has reached a deal with Internet radio service iHeartRadio. IHeartRadio will serve as Yahoo's exclusive music radio service and have presence across several of Yahoo's online platforms, including Yahoo Music. Additionally, Yahoo will be the exclusive Web and mobile partner for the iHeartRadio Festival and other annual live events. (6/28)
