Headed back to Nashville from doing a run of shows, we realized that we'd miss the GRAMMY nominations announcement show that was airing that night if we didn't stop somewhere to watch it. We ended up pulling into an Applebee's where our road manager asked if the restaurant would mind turning the channel to CBS because there was a possibility we would be nominated.

They ended up putting the show on every TV in the room and turning it up! It seemed like there was somewhat of a buzz happening at all of the tables around us. The anticipation was building as show came to a close. Then all of our phones started blowing up. Texts, phone calls and Twitter notifications started pouring in.

Prior to the show, we made a "no phone rule." We wanted to either hear it or see it for ourselves first. We logged onto www.grammy.com and searched our category ... there it was! Royal Tailor was listed under the nominees for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album! We erupted in celebration! After hugging possibly everyone in Applebee's, signing a few autographs and taking some photos with the employees, we called just about everyone in our contact list to share the news. In a conversation with one of our producers, Aaron Lindsey, he told us that although this isn't why we do what we do, it sure does feel good and is a great honor that deserves celebrating. Since that night we haven't stopped talking about it and we can't wait to hit the red carpet on our way into the big show Feb. 12!
