I was at home in Melbourne when I found out about the GRAMMY nominations and was so excited to see that "Somebody That I Used To Know" had received two nominations, especially after such a huge year of hard work from both Wally and I. Seeing my name amidst such prestigious artists is a real buzz and I am so glad the song is being honored on the global stage. It's been an amazing experience to be involved and has given me the opportunity to now share my own music with the world.

I'm looking forward to being a part of the GRAMMYs, supporting Gotye on a special night for him and also getting to be a part of all the excitement and be in the company of many of my musical idols. It will be a very memorable occasion, I'm sure.

(Kimbra is nominated for Record Of The Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance as a featured artist on Gotye's "Somebody That I Used To Know." The No. 1 hit is featured on Gotye's GRAMMY-nominated Making Mirrors and was the top-selling digital song of 2012.)
