First-Time GRAMMY Nominee: Chano Domínguez

(The Recording Academy asked some of this year's first-time GRAMMY nominees to collect their thoughts and share what it feels like to be nominated for a GRAMMY.)

Cádiz, Spain native Chano Domínguez is nominated for Best Latin Jazz Album for Flamenco Sketches. Released in March 2012 in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Miles Davis' Kind Of Blue, the album features renditions of songs such from the original as "So What" and "Flamenco Sketches" and peaked in the Top 40 on Billboard's Jazz Albums chart.
