Eminem's Recovery topped the Billboard 200 for the fourth consecutive week with sales of 195,000 units, marking the first album to notch four consecutive weeks at No. 1 since Susan Boyle's I Dreamed A Dream, and the first by a male solo artist since Josh Groban's Noel in 2007, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Eminem's "Love The Way You Lie" featuring Rihanna claimed the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100, marking the first time a male soloist has concurrently held both No. 1 slots since GRAMMY-winning rapper T.I. in 2008. Overall album sales for the week ending July 18 totaled 5.21 million units, down 23 percent from the comparable sales week last year. (7/22)

Spanish Physical Sales Down, Digital Up
Retail music sales totaled $98.6 million in Spain during the first six months of 2010, representing a 12.3 percent drop compared to the same period in 2009, according to labels association Promusicae. Physical music sales decreased 21 percent to $73.2 million, while digital sales increased 30 percent to $25.4 million. Overall, digital music sales now represent 25.8 percent of all music sales in Spain. (7/22)
