Creem To Return To Print
The publishing team behind iconic rock and roll magazine Creem has announced plans to return the magazine to a quarterly print publication as part of a broader music network that will include mobile apps and streaming music videos, according to Billboard.biz. The magazine, which originally shuttered in 1988 and has been available as an online-only publication since 2001, is expected to return to the presses in mid- to late September. (7/13)

David Lynch Releases Download For Good
Film producer/director David Lynch's David Lynch Foundation Music has launched Download For Good, a digital music compilation created to benefit the David Lynch Foundation, a nonprofit education organization that offers stress-reducing transcendental meditation to underserved populations and those in need. The album is available for download at iTunes and features songs by Arrested Development, Alanis Morissette, Ben Folds, Maroon 5, Moby, and Tom Waits, among others. (7/13)
