Bon Jovi Tops Pollstar Tour Lists
Bon Jovi topped Pollstar's list of top 50 worldwide tours in 2010 with total revenue of $201.1 million over 80 concerts. AC/DC was second with $177 million, followed by U2 ($160.9 million), Lady Gaga ($133.6 million), and Metallica ($110.1 million). Bon Jovi was also Pollstar's top touring act in North America with total revenue of $108.2 million. Rounding out the top five North American tours were Roger Waters ($89.5 million), Dave Matthews Band ($72.9 million), Michael Bublé ($65.7 million), and the Eagles ($64.5 million). Pollstar reported a 12 percent year-over-year decline in concert ticket sales to $26.2 million in North America in 2010, and a 7 percent year-over-year decline in worldwide ticket sales to $38.3 million.
