picked up Artist of the Year honors at the 2010 American Music Awards on Nov. 21 in Los Angeles, becoming the youngest artist in AMA history to receive the honor, and won three additional awards, including Breakthrough Artist of the Year and Pop/Rock Music — Favorite Male Artist and Favorite Album for My World 2.0. Also picking up awards were GRAMMY winners Black Eyed Peas, Eminem, Lady Gaga, Brad Paisley, Taylor Swift, and Usher, among others. (11/22)

Take That Charts Biggest UK Debut In 13 Years
British pop group Take That's Progress debuted at No. 1 on the UK's Official Albums Chart with first-week sales of approximately 520,000 units, marking the largest first-week UK sales debut since Oasis' Be Here Now sold 663,000 units in 1997, according to the Official Charts Company. Recent top-selling albums debuting at No. 1 include Coldplay's X&Y, which sold 465,000 units in 2005, and Take That's The Circus, which sold 432,000 units in 2008. (11/22)
