Six-time GRAMMY-winning songwriter/producer Dr. Dre will be honored with the ASCAP Founders Award, which recognizes songwriters and composers whose musical legacies have inspired and influenced fellow music creators. Dr. Dre will be honored at ASCAP's 23rd annual Rhythm & Soul Music Awards on June 25 in Los Angeles. Past recipients include Bob Dylan, Melissa Etheridge, Annie Lennox, Heart's Ann and Nancy Wilson, and Neil Young. GRAMMY winner Lennox was also recently named the United Nations' UNAIDS Goodwill Ambassador to raise awareness for AIDS-infected women in Southern Africa. (6/2)

According to information from video tracker TubeMogul, Sony Music Entertainment has the highest average views per music video on YouTube with 2.25 million. Universal Music Group placed second (2.21 million), followed by independent label Hollywood Records (1.96 million), independent electronic label Ultra Records (789,000), Warner Music Group (356,000), and EMI Music (190,000). Included on Hollywood Record's video roster is Miley Cyrus' "Party In The U.S.A.," which ranks as the fifth most-viewed video ever with 124.5 million. (6/2)
