Apple Reveals iCloud Pricing Structure
On Aug. 1 Apple launched a beta-version website for iCloud revealing a pricing structure for the storage service. The iCloud storage tier will include the first 5 GB of content for free, with paid upgrades available including 10 GB ($20 per year), 20 GB ($40 per year), and 50 GB ($100 per year). The storage pricing only applies to content purchased outside of iTunes. All content purchased within iTunes may be added to iCloud for free. Though a specific date has not been announced, iCloud is scheduled to be available this fall. (8/2)

Amy Winehouse Tops UK Album Chart
Following her death on July 23, Amy Winehouse's Back To Black surged from No. 59 to No. 1 on the UK albums chart, according to the Official Charts Co. Winehouse's 2003 album, Frank, reached No. 5, besting the album's previous peak of No. 13 in February 2004. The five-time GRAMMY winner landed five songs on the UK singles chart, including "Back To Black" (No. 8), "Tears Dry On Their Own" (No. 27) and "Rehab" (No. 29). In the United States, Back To Black re-entered the Billboard 200 at No. 9 with sales of 37,000 units, up from 1,000 units sold the week prior. (8/2)
