GRAMMY Foundation Grants

On October 1, 2008 the application process concluded for the 2008/2009 grant cycle. Grants submitted for this cycle will be announced in March 2009. No phone calls please.

The GRAMMY Foundation Grant Program funds the following areas:

1. Scientific Research Projects
The GRAMMY Foundation Grant Program awards grants to organizations and individuals to support efforts that advance the research and/or broad reaching implementations of original scientific research projects related to the impact of music on the human condition, such as the links between music study and early childhood development, the effects of music therapy and the medical and occupational well being of music professionals.

2. Archiving and Preservation Projects
The GRAMMY Foundation Grant Program awards grants to organizations and individual to support efforts that advance the archiving and preservation of the music and recorded sound heritage of the Americas. Archiving and Preservation Resources
These resources are provided as a courtesy to our grant applicants. Resources listed are not partners, sponsors, employees or agents of the GRAMMY Foundation. The GRAMMY Foundation will not be involved with any services or compensation. Applicants are not required to use these resources. It is, however, crucial to the funding of any project that a qualified archivist be identified.
